Water Savings and Drought Questions
HOW TO KEEP YOUR LAWN AND/OR PLANT A NEW ONE DURING DROUGHT RESTRICTIONS
We are all being impacted by new and changing temporary water restrictions state by state. Right now the most significant change is in California.
The question is, can you still have a healthy, environmentally beneficial, oxygen producing lawn, and only water it minimally this summer? The answer is YES. And we will help show you how. You don't need to rip out your lawn and replace it with heat producing toxic plastic grass, or DG. No, it might not be dark bright green, but you can make it through the tough time. And if you were planning to plant a lawn, you still can--choosing one of our drought tolerant warm season grasses or Kurapia sod groundcover.
Be sure that you are up to date with your irrigation system, and have your timers watering on schedule.
Also, its a good idea to check with your local water authority for the guidelines in your particular county. They are constantly changing.
